カボス果皮の粉末をセルロースの代わりに飼料に添加し、ラットの成長、臓器重量、血清各種成分に及ぼす影響を検討した。その結果、対照群、成熟カボス果皮群および未熟カボス果皮群ともに、順調に成長し、体重による成長速度に差は認められなかった。臓器重量においても各群の間に差は認められなかった。また、血清アルブミン値や血糖値、肝機能の指標酵素であるALTやAST活性にも差は認められなかったことから、カボス果皮の摂取は、蛋白質、糖質代謝や肝機能に影響を与えないことが示された。血清中性脂肪、リン脂質、総コレステロール濃度でも対照群とカボス果皮粉末食群で差は認められなかったが、リポ蛋白質分画では、カボス果皮粉末食群でHDLの割合が有意に増加し、VLDLとLDLが低下傾向を示した。 We examined the effect of Kabosu peel feeding on growth and serum constituents of rat by substituting Kabosu peel powder or cellulose powder in the food. In the result, each of control group, mature Kabosu peel group, and immature Kabosu peel group grew constantly. There were not significant differences in growth rate and tissue weight among three groups of rats. Also, there were no significant differences in the level of albumin, glucose, ALT, AST, triglycerides, phospholipids and total cholesterol in the serum among these groups. The ratio of high density lipoprotein in serum was significantly higher in Kabosu peel groups than in the control group, and the ratios of low density lipoprotein and very low density lipoprotein showed a decrease in Kabosu peel groups. These results show that the Kabosu peel diet does not give any negative effects on the metabolism of protein, metabolism of carbohydrate and hepatic function of rats. |
